So today (Sunday) was glorious with a capital G. The weather was perfecto – warm but not too hot, breezy but not windy and sunny skies were all the rage. Basically, spring is coming and it’s shaping up to be a good one. Plus, Easter is right around the corner and who doesn’t love Easter? The pastels, the bunnies, the chocolate?
To spruce up your Easter table, I whipped up these DIY Easter grass place cards. The best part is they take literally two seconds and give you a use for that pesky Easter grass we all have lying around.
All you need is a glue stick, Easter grass and pre-perforated place cards like these from Paper Source. I should own stock in Paper Source btw.
So then you run your glue stick along the bottom of the place card and attach a good amount of Easter grass to the bottom. (Also, can you look at my thumb in this picture – my hands look like I’m 107 years old.)
Cut off your excess grass. Again, there’s no real rhyme or reason here. It can be messy if you want. I’m not big on “rules” – I like to live dangerously. Write your names on the place cards and voila – a festive and ridiculously easy Easter place card.
Just in time for Easter, I have an epic #claireeats for you. (In case you don’t know, Claire is my 2 year old niece who eats a lot of food. We have a hashtag for it.) In this episode of #claireeats, she wanders around in her fave Cookie Monster pajamas and bunny socks holding an easter basket and eating a Wheat Thin.
I mean……right? If you want to see her Cookie Monster Party #claireeats moments, you can find those HERE:
