Thanks to all my friends and supporters for coming over to my new website and for the encouraging comments. I’m beyond thrilled and frankly tickled pink that you love it as much as I do.
On that note, I’m featuring one of my favorite 2014 weddings as my first official blog post on my new website. Hannah and Chris’ Fall 2014 wedding was a joy to plan. With wonderful vendors and an amazingly fun couple, I loved seeing their big day come together. In fact, I loved it so very much that I am splitting this into 2 posts! Part 1 will be their getting ready pics and ceremony pics and Part 2 will be the reception. I hope you enjoy the creativity, gorgeous fall flowers and Hannah’s sparkling personality that shines all the way through this beautiful wedding!
All photos are by InContrast Images (who were amazing btw) but a full list of vendors is at the bottom of this post.
As I mentioned, Hannah is a spunky, fun girl with personality for days! Here she is getting ready – gorgeous even before the dress!
I love this picture of Hannah reading a pre-wedding note from her groom.
Her beautiful lace dress is from one of my favorite bridal boutiques, J. Majors.
I love this picture of the monogrammed bridesmaid bags and shoes on the bed. Hannah is definitely a southern gal if you couldn’t tell by the monogramming!
The guys had their own gifts, coordinated by Hannah and Chris to include matching yellow ties and a few other goodies.
Here’s the handsome groom getting ready! And getting his boutonniere on with help from a groomsman. While wearing yellow shades of course.
The ceremony was held at the Elder Gallery in South End. I highly recommend this space for their beautiful art, flexibility and hip vibe. The ceremony and reception flowers were provided by Lynette with Bloom-Room who I cannot thank enough. Hannah explained her vision to Lynette and Lynette captured it perfectly. I loved how unique and colorful the flowers were – just wait until you see the full reception pictures!! The ceremony aisle was lined with pumpkins and brightly colored petals which made a wonderful statement. Vintage doors from Old South Vintage Rentals served as the “altar.” That’s enough chatter, I will let the photos speak for themselves!
The attendants walked down the aisle to an amazing bluegrass duo from Charleston Virtuosi. These guys were incredibly talented and I highly recommend Charleston Virtuosi as they have a wide variety of musical groups.
Hannah and Chris had 4 little attendants – including a precious 1.5 year old little girl who didn’t quite make it down the aisle. I had a split second decision to make and almost carried her down the aisle myself but instead she just wandered around the aisle adorably for awhile until I just picked up her up. #weddingplannerlife
Can we talk about how adorable their little attendants were though? His suspenders and his curly hair? I die.
I love this shot of classic bridesmaid duties – double fisting bouquets and wrangling little attendants.
And look at the little moss ringbearer pillow…
As part of their ceremony, Hannah and Chris did a wine blending ceremony to represent their two lives becoming one. I’m always game for anything wine-related. Wink.
The bouquets were absolutely stunning.
Here’s a great shot of the ceremony action. And of Rev. Rebecca Nagy doing her thang!
And of the happy couple leaving as husband and wife!
For more pics like these and the one below, check back later this week for Part 2 of their wedding post which includes their incredibly fun wedding reception!
