Do you guys know what a greyhound is? And no, not the bus. It’s my favorite spring/summer cocktail and it’s only got 2 ingredients. Grapefruit and Vodka.
If you’re not a grapefruit fan, I’d try this anyways. Grapefruit juice is a littler fruitier than just sticking a spoon in a grapefruit and trying to eat it like that for breakfast. Ew. When you pair the juice with vodka and ice it’s an ice cold drink perfect for sipping on a patio. It’s not overly sweet like so many warm weather drinks. PLUS it’s almost pink. So, as I mentioned, the two ingredients:
Grapefruit Juice and Vodka. Three if you count ice.
The recipe goes a little something like this…About a shot and a half (or 1.5 oz. if you want to get technical) of vodka combined with enough grapefruit juice to fill up the glass with room for ice. Stir.
Garnish with a wedge of grapefruit. Enjoy. You can thank me later.
I dare say this is an excellent addition to your Easter table. It’s basically a pastel am I right? Speaking of Easter, do you need a quick dessert? Look no further than this post I did for Bon Bon Rose Girls...I dressed up store bought desserts in 5 seconds flat… like these Rice Krispy Treats:
Happy Easter to you and your fam! Hope you get a basket filled with chocolate!
Mmmmm. Now you’re making me want some grapefruit juice. Hope you had a great Easter!
